Just Diagnosed? You're Not Alone.
We're Here for You.

A diagnosis of ovarian or gynecologic cancer can feel overwhelming — filled with questions, emotions, and uncertainty. At the Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance (WOCA), we want you to know that you are not alone. Whether you're newly diagnosed, navigating treatment, or adjusting to life after cancer, we’re here to walk with you every step of the way.

Support Begins Here

WOCA offers a wide range of programs, resources, and social groups created specifically for those impacted by ovarian and gynecologic cancers — all designed to provide comfort, connection, and clarity during a difficult time.

Woman to Woman Mentorship

Personalized Support Services

Our mentorship program pairs you with a survivor volunteer who offers hope, understanding, and the unique insight that only comes from someone who has faced a gynecologic cancer diagnosis firsthand.

Survivors' Teaching Students

Survivors Teaching Students(R) brings ovarian cancer survivors into medical school classrooms to share their stories and key information about the disease. Join us today, and share your story!

Financial Support

We understand that cancer treatment can bring unexpected financial burdens — from medical bills to everyday living expenses. WOCA, along with CRLF offer two different financial support programs.

Ovarian Cancer Social Groups

Connect with others who understand

Our social groups offer a safe, positive, and welcoming space to share your experiences, ask questions, and find strength in community. Groups meet both virtually and in-person throughout the state.

Camp Mak-A-Dream Travel Scholarship

WOCA is proud to offer a travel scholarship to attend Camp Mak-A-Dream - a free, medically supervised retreat in Montana for women diagnosed with Ovarian/Gynecological cancer. This special scholarship is offered in memory of Laura Clark Hansen, who touched many lives.

Comfort Totes

Our Comfort Totes are care packages thoughtfully prepared for individuals beginning treatment for ovarian cancer.

Patients typically receive a tote on their first day of treatment, but they can also request one directly through the WOCA office to have it mailed to their home.
